drink lots of water, eat fresh cherries and try drinking 100% cherry juice. stay away from meat. if the doctor will prescribe it take colchicine.

where abouts is it? If its on the foot or something like that I have heard people swear by soaking there foot in apple cider vinegar. They say the acidity from the vinegar draws the gout away, sounds pretty amazing. give it ago... The people I have talked to soaked it for about an hour.
