gout normally forms in the big toe. gout is the build up of uric (misspelled) acid in the joints that causes crystals to form in the joint and causes inflamation and pain. the best way to get rid of it is going to a dr one home remidy my father uses is 2 table spoons of concentrated cherry juice . he gets it at GNC vitiams stores. also its good take every day after the symptoms go away for prevenative care of gout...
